Andrea Scott, Veterinary Technician

Andrea first became interested in horses at the age of 8 when she moved to Vermont, after growing up abroad and moving about the US with her military family. The race track and stables in her back yard sparked her interest in horses. She got her first horse at the age of 9; a Morab named" Little Brooke Phoebe" whom she showed on the 4-H circuit. While in 4-H, Andrea was also chosen to represent Vermont at Eastern States exposition 3 times with her horses and also compete at the national level in Kentucky in public speaking. She was also a delegate from Vermont to go to Citizenship Washington focus. Since then she has owned and raised Saddlebreds and Morgan's, showing and driving fine harness horses around New England and judging at various shows. Andrea's employment at Vermont Large Animal Clinic Equine Hospital has led her to an interest in the surgical side of Veterinary Medicine. She also enjoys taking care of horses at the clinic as well as interacting with their owners. She looks forward to seeing you at the clinic.
